1. Who we are

jcob.ai is operated by Jcob AI Artificial Intelligence Developing Services, a sole establishment owned by Synthia Jacob, licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (Professional Licence No. 1644553), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for personal data collected through this site. For anything in this policy, reach us through the Contact page.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers personal data collected through jcob.ai: the forms, the logs, the cookies. When we work with a client, personal data handled during the engagement is governed by that engagement’s agreement and its data protection terms, not by this policy.

3. What we collect

Three kinds of data. First, what you give us through forms or when you comment on an article: your name, company, email address, and whatever you write. Second, technical data created when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, held in standard server logs. Third, cookies, described in section 11.

4. Why we collect it

To read and answer your messages. To manage the waitlist and contact you when a slot opens. To respond to enquiries about our services and prepare proposals when you ask for them. To run and secure the website, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We process your data with your consent, given when you submit a form, and where UAE law otherwise permits. To publish and moderate comments on our articles.

5. Marketing

If you join the waitlist or ask about working with us, we may occasionally email you about our services and availability. You can ask us to stop at any time, and we will. We do not send marketing for anyone else.

6. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train AI models.

7. Who can see it

The members of our team who handle enquiries, and the service providers that run the site for us: hosting, form processing and email. Providers act on our instructions and cannot use your data for their own purposes. We share data with authorities only where the law requires it.

8. Where it goes

Our team works from several countries, so your data may be accessed from outside the UAE. When that happens we apply the safeguards required by the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), including confidentiality obligations for everyone who handles it.

9. How long we keep it

As long as needed for the purpose you gave it to us. Waitlist entries are kept until we contact you and for a reasonable period after. Contact messages and service enquiries are kept while we deal with them and for our records. If you opt out of marketing, we keep your email address only to make sure we do not contact you again. When data is no longer needed, we delete it. Published comments stay with the article. Ask us and we will remove yours.

10. Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, including for marketing, request a copy in portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. Use the Contact page and we will respond without undue delay. You can also complain to the UAE Data Office.

11. Cookies

The site does not set cookies for ordinary visitors. If you comment and ask the site to remember your details for next time, it stores that choice in cookies in your browser. Essential WordPress cookies are used only if someone signs in to the site’s administration area. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add tools that set cookies in future, we will update this section.

12. Security

Access to your data is limited to the people who need it, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No website can promise perfect security, but we take the duty seriously.

13. Links and embeds

Articles may link to other sites or embed content such as video. Those services follow their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

14. Children

This site is for business audiences and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

15. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the current version.
